Before Your Treatment

Prior to your treatment at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, it’s important that you schedule a consultation with one of our trained professionals. This allows you the opportunity to learn more about your options and decide on the right approach for you. Your consultation is also a good time to inquire about any additional med spa procedures or cosmetic surgery options you may be interested in.

While ear piercing has long been a common practice, when performed by an amateur piercer or at an unsanitary location, it can lead to infection, asymmetrical results or other adverse effects. Choosing the professional piercers at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for your ear piercing means that you’ll receive optimal patient care with a minimal chance of complications.

Your Procedure

The precise steps for your beauty enhancement depend on the option you’ve chosen and the approach our aestheticians take to help you meet your appearance goals. Before your ear piercing, you may select a pair of stud earrings from our office or you may bring your own. You should wear your hair pulled back so that it doesn’t interfere with the piercing process. The piercing itself only takes a couple of minutes. You will most likely experience some fleeting pain, and your ears may continue to feel sore for some time after your piercing.

Healing Process for Your Treatment

Following your ear piercing, you can resume your normal routine with special care not to bump or touch your new piercings. You should avoid sleeping on your side for the first couple of weeks so as not to irritate the piercings. Our aesthetician will provide you with detailed care to prevent infection.

You will be asked to clean the piercings and rotate your studs daily. Do not remove the studs until instructed by your piercer. Once your piercings have fully healed and you remove the studs, usually after a couple of months, you may enjoy complementing your outfits with a wide range of jewelry.
