The patient is a 45 year old who consulted with Dr. Daniel for evaluation for a cosmetic rhinoplasty. She commented of her profile being a bit excessive, as well as some asymmetry that she noted over the years. These asymmetries were particularly shown in the “worm’s eye view”, which is the view from below the chin looking up toward the tip of the nose. Dr. Daniel chose open rhinoplasty techniques (an incision necessary between the nostrils). He reduced the dorsum and narrowed the base of the nose, as well as bringing the tip back to the midline and created more tip definition. The airways were opened up internally as well and the patient stated to Dr. Daniel that since her surgery she has never had so much energy or slept so well.
