Your Tummy Tuck Procedure

For men, a tummy tuck can be ideal for sculpting abdominal musculature by removing fatty deposits and loose skin, as well as tightening the muscles themselves. Dr. Daniel believes that the best tummy tuck results come from customizing each procedure to the patient’s individual anatomy, so he offers more than one technique when performing abdominoplasty:

Full (Traditional) Tummy Tuck

A full tummy tuck involves a horizontal incision that’s placed low in the abdomen just above the pubic bone. Another incision is made around the navel. Because the incision length is in part determined by the level of correction needed, the size of the incision may vary from patient to patient.

Mini Tummy Tuck

A limited version of the full tummy tuck, the mini tummy tuck can still deliver excellent results in the right candidate. The mini tummy tuck uses a shorter incision, and is better for men whose skin laxity is limited to below the navel only. Although the mini tummy tuck can mean a smaller scar, this procedure does not offer the same level of correction as a traditional abdominoplasty.

Liposuction
