Our Staff

Dr. Daniel’s staff is committed to your comfort and safety above all else. Each staff member understands that cosmetic surgery is not an everyday occurrence for patients. They know that questions must be answered quickly and that concerns must be addressed. Patients often say that the staff treats them with the same sensitivity as a good friend.

susangkomenDr. Daniel’s office was the 3rd place team in Lane County raising donations for the 2012 Eugene, OR Race for the Cure.  Also, Dr. Daniel was the 2nd highest individual to raise support for the race.

Patricia Trapnell

Registered Nurse

Three things about me:

  1. I used to be a professional marathon runner. I ran for Power Bar, Nike, and FrontRunner. My best time was a 2:47 marathon.
  2. I did 23andme and found out I am 44.5% Native American, 33% Spanish, the rest… I’m a mutt.
  3. I have traveled a ton! Europe, Central America, South America, and Asia. I can’t get enough and my kids are lucky enough to have come with me.

I’m a registered nurse with over 19 years of experience in the field of aesthetic medicine and a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. As an advanced injector, I love being able to challenge myself, expand my knowledge, and look at a patient’s face and know exactly what it needs! When I’m not administering my favorite cosmetic procedures, I adore spending my time with my 3 beautiful children!

Jose Coats

Certified Advanced Aesthetician

Three things about me:

  1. I don’t like cheesecake.
  2. I once lived in Mexico with no running water or electricity for 6 months.
  3. I probably spend more money on gym clothes than regular clothes.

I am an Oregon native who was born and raised here in the Willamette Valley. I enjoy working out, good food and hanging out with close friends and family. I took an interest in skin care at an early age and enjoy helping my patients look their best. Before working for Dr. Daniel, I spray tanned bodybuilders and fitness competitors for competitions. Now with the use of lasers and physician dispensed skin care, I am able to treat and enhance a wide variety of patient skin types.

Sarah Crabtree

Three things about me:

  1. I would rather be barefoot or wear rubber boots than shoes.
  2. I swoon at the thought of receiving a handwritten letter in the mail.
  3. I am crazy for classic country music and old honky tonk bars.

I may not be the newest member of our team or at the front desk anymore but I am DEFINITELY still here! After getting a push in the right direction from Dr. Daniel, Jose and other staff members (could I get any better mentors?!?!) AND amazing support from the rest of our team I went back to school and got my aesthetics license and am now seeing patients on the Spa Side. I’ve always had an interest in skin care and love to have my patients walk out after a treatment feeling and looking their best. I know that having my skin feeling and looking it’s best makes me feel so much better – that’s what I want for all my patients. I cannot wait to have you come in and see me!

Dana Schmidt

Patient Care Coordinator

Three things about me:

  1. Cooking for people makes me happy!
  2. I love yoga
  3. I was a singer in a rock n’ roll band

I am so happy to be back as the Patient Care Coordinator for Dr. Daniel! I held this same position over ten years ago and as they say, all things come back full circle. I have a strong customer service background and connect easily with people. My goal as the Patient Care Coordinator is to make every patient’s experience positive, seamless and memorable. When I’m not working I enjoy time with friends & family, golf, camping, and a good glass of wine!

Sarah Wellman

Aesthetician, Permanent Makeup Artist, Brow Queen

Three things about me:

  1. I love squirrels, my pony, bunnies and endless YouTube animal videos
  2. I was homeschooled for 6 years.
  3. I love to be adventurous, outdoors and exploring this beautiful world.

I met Dr. Daniel when I started riding horses with his family several years ago. At the time I was attending a very well-known cosmetology program in Portland. Becoming an Aesthetician was my goal and I knew that being a part of his team would be in my future someday. After graduation I moved back home to Roseburg and all these years later that dream became a reality! I opened my own office and began working with Dr. Daniel’s CoolSculpting patients in and around Douglas County. I have recently moved to Eugene and will now establish myself here locally. I consider myself very blessed to be part of his team.
